The primary function of this opportunity is to create a space for emerging artists to continuously practice and produce quality work. The successful applicants will work from the studios over a period of 3 months (5 hours a day/ 6 days a week max.). Applications are renewable at the end of every period depending on availability of space and progress demonstrated.  The studio periods will run from September -November 2016.

Needs Assessment for Namibian Artists

This research particularly aims to identify and cross-examine the professional and industry-related needs of artists, educators and cultural leaders in the Namibian context. Through a critical exploration, the study also has an objective of finding working solutions and exploring them through the development and implementation of JMAC’s future projects on a national level.
